Yesterday's blog entry was about living in an English home and the dinner served there. Today I will introduce some of the other foods in Sheffield.
First, the cafeteria at the English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) offers a set which lets us choose the sandwiches, snack and drink we like. It costs only three pounds. I ate a ham and cheese sandwich and blueberry yoghurt for lunch. It was tasty! This sandwich was bigger than I had expected.
A taste of Sheffield
This is a dinner I ate in my own host family's house. It is a traditional meal in Sheffield. The photo shows a fish cake, mash beans and sauce. It was delicious.
